B&W CWM 800

Bowers & Wilkins CWM 800 is an in-wall two-way speaker setup designed for use with medium-sized home theatre setups. It is largely based on the CWM 500 model, and shares many features, like a two-position treble cutoff/boost switch.

The main difference is that this model has improved bass and mid ranges because of a larger Kevlar driver, measuring 200mm. The tweeter is still an aluminum dome and measures 25mm. This upgrade increases the price of the unit, usually sold in pairs, and also increases the frequency response to 35 Hz - 30kHz. It has swing-out fixings that allow for easier installation and a paintable  off-white mat to match the wall color.
