Product Shot 1The Canon FS400 is a basic digital video camera designed for the consumer market. This is the same as the Canon FS400 but doesn't have any built-in memory, relying instead on user-supplied SDXC memory cards for video storage.

The camera is capable of an Advanced Zoom of up to 41x, and the DIGIC DV II process is used to ensure the best possible quality of recording. Video is previewed through a 2.7 inch widescreen LCD, and the camera's functionality is also accessed through on-screen menus. Quick Start enables recording almost as soon as the camera is turned on, and Advanced Video Snapshot enables consecutive still images to be saved to memory. Video can be watched on an external display by using the A/V mini-terminals, and a USB port is available to copy files from the camera to an external device.
