As the base unit, the XF300 uses an 18x HD L-series lens, three 1080p CMOS image sensors, and the aforementioned XF codec to ensure exceptional color detail with accurate chromo-keying, color-grading and compositing. Included also are hot-swappable dual card slots, a 4” LCD display, a ½” electronic viewfinder, dual XLR audio inputs, and a stereo microphone. Signature is the XF300’s use of the Material Exchange Format (MXF), which is a standardized container format that ensures the highest compatibility with non-linear editing (NLE) systems.
