It essentially builds from the CM-3016 by incorporating 6 additional elements (30 total), allowing it to receive from an enhanced range of 60 miles. Like its predecessor, the unit comes unassembled, but is touted as being easy to put together and then install on whatever outdoor surface the user chooses to use. Once hooked up to an HDTV, the CM-3018 can easily pick up crystal clear HD signals that are being broadcasted in the general vicinity.
