The Gitzo G1228 is a rigid-design tripod construct to hold most 35mm and medium format equipment, as well as some light field 4x5 cameras. Constructed of carbon fiber, the tripod benefits from vibration reduction and lightweight portability.

Its center column is non-rotating and features positive locking action. It has a weight hook at the center column’s base and at a folded length of 21.3”, can fit on the majority of camera backpacks.
