GolfLogix Smartphone Application

The GolfLogix Smartphone Application is a GPS rangefinder application for Apple, Blackberry, HTC Mobility, Motorola, Palm, Samsung, and Google smartphones. Originally released in early June 2009 for the BlackBerry Curve, GolfLogix allows users with GPS-enabled smartphones to use their phones as a digital caddie.

They can track distances across more than 24,000 golf courses; track their scores across a digital scorecard; and sync their date with the Internet for statistical comparison with other players. Overall, the GolfLogix Smart Phone solution is optimal for users on a budget, but not for those seeking precise accuracy. The latter requires a more high-tech, stand-alone unit.
