A quick-release waterproof design enables full-confidence use in virtually all weather conditions, with up to 2.5 hours of standalone battery life available via a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Two types of helmet straps - headlamp and vented - are included to support a wide variety of helmet styles suitable for BMX, motocross, skateboarding, rollerblading and more. Attachments are made via 3M adhesive mounts, available in flat and curved shapes for optimal positioning in any application. Once attached, the Helmet HERO can be intricately maneuvered through a three-way pivoting sidearm for important on-the-go adjustment. Content transfer is achieved via USB 2.0 connectivity, with component HDTV video output available in addition to a dually-functioning composite audio/video output.
