Peek Classic

$20.00 Released September, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:More affordable if you pay per year or per quarter ($15 month / year, $16.67 month / year). Doesn't require a short-range WiFi network - runs off of GSM cellphone data allowing you to send and receive mail wherever you can get cell reception. Better usability than a smart phone when it comes to e-mail - larger / easier to read display, large QWERTY keyboard, scroll wheel.

The Cons:Monthly subscription fees for GSM network connection. A dedicated device for e-mail only - silly and not economical compared to the majority of smartphones. Does not actually tell you anything about activating your service before getting to use the device.

The Peek Classic is an entry-level prepaid PDA handset built as a competitor to more expensive smartphones. It’s built strictly for sending and receiving email messages over Peek’s GSM network, which costs $14.99 a month to access.
