This allows a user to use the unit as either a single high-performance stereo loudspeaker, or the left-or-right speaker in a high performance stereo pair. Like its predecessor, the Atrium8sdi features a military-certified frame designed specifically to withstand years of abuse from hot, cold, rainy, and snowy weather. Included also is a 6-1/2” bass driver, dual dome tweeters (previously mentioned), and a water-resistant PowerPort bass ventilation shaft that adds an additional 3dB of bass output.
