The XD1080 is just 3.6 in long and weighs 3oz. Even though it is a light and small device, the XD1080 offers a a range of inputs and outputs including an HDMI out, external audio line-in (for mic), and a mini USB2.0 port. Videos and photos can be stored on the camera via a microSDHC slot that is compatible with memory cards of up to 32GB capacity. It can record in a variety of modes such as Full HD 1080p at 30 frames per second (fps), 960p at 30fps, and at a high fps of 60 with 720p resolution recording providing a smoother picture. Even though the XD2080 has a high quality built-in microphone, the external audio input allows for even better external solutions to be connected to the camera offering users options and flexibility.
