Samsung SIR-S4120R

The Samsung SIR-S4120R is a DirecTV/TiVo satellite receiver capable of recording standard definition content. With its built-in 120GB hard disk, owners can expect to store about 100 hours of programming with a TiVo subscription.

When this receiver was originally released in late 2003, it had one of the highest storage capacities amongst satellite receiver DVRs. Soundtracks with 5.1 Dolby Digital audio are also recorded, allowing for a full surround experience. TiVo’s services are integrated with DirecTV’s program guide, allowing for straight forward television viewing and recording. Other features include a second tuner, meaning owners can watch one live show wile recording another. Connections include S-Video, Composite and RF out, plus digital optical for surround sound. A pair of USB 1.1 ports have also been integrated.
