Introduced in the SIR-S70, a new guided search enables viewers to scan program listings by actor name, movie title and other in depth search options. A picture-in-picture guide window is displayed whenever a user interacts with the menu system, allowing for a small version the video content to be displayed at the same time. For those who just want to see what’s on next, Samsung’s Quick Guide allows for listings to be displayed in a narrow opaque overlay on top of the television program. Video output consists of S-Video and Composite out. For sound, only stereo is supported. The SIR-S70 integrates a phone jack as well, allowing for phone calls to be taken through the TV with caller ID.
