Both of the rails can be shifted to allow lateral movement of the TV, and there is also a lever to snap the TV into place against the rails - before doing so, cables can be attached or adjusted before this, and then pushing the lever moves the TV closer to the wall. The wall plate is made of aluminum and is thus lightweight, and it has cut-out panels that allow for easier cable management. When fully installed, the rails also allow for vertical tilting adjustment. This mount should be compatible with nearly all flat-panel TVs.
