Sennheiser HDE 2020-D-US

The Sennheiser HDE 2020-D-US is a headphone/receiver sound system for use with the Tourguide System 2020-D system. Its receiver unit allows has a reception range of 50m while outdoors and 25m indoors while also sporting a rotary volume knob and a backlit display which shows channel selection, battery status, signal quality and volume settings.

Additionally, the HDE 2020-D-US receives in 6 channels while its automatic on/off switch reduces battery consumption.

The HDE 2020-D-US' receiver unit features a rotary volume knob for easy volume adjustment while its backlit display allows for at-a-glance updates on system functions, most notably signal quality so that people using the HDE 2020-D-US can keep track of how far they are from the tour guide. The HDE 2020-D-US is able to operate on 6 channels in the license-free frequency range (USA 926-928MHz) while a button in the center of the unit allows for on-the-go channel adjustment. Meanwhile, the HDE 2020-D-US features an automatic on/off switch which turns the unit off when no longer being worn.
