It uses a Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonar T lens, which provides 20x optical zoom, and incorporates optical image stabilization technology. Compared to the FX1, the FX7 is more compact and features a greater optical zoom and longer battery life, but uses lower-resolution sensors. Like other models in its class, the FX7 boasts an extensive array of video-recording and processing features.
