The Sony NEX-FS100 is a midline professional camcorder that acts as a step up from the NEX-VG10, or as a far more affordable answer to the PMW-F3, depending on your intended application. Featuring a large CMOS sensor equivalent in size to Super35mm film, it is able to create a rich bokeh effect to produce a iconic and professional shallow-focus look.

The optimized exposure latitude and sensitivity deliver extraordinary HD images with subtle detail and color gradation, while avoiding image artifacts typically attributed to HDSLRS. Its 35mm E-Mount Interchangeable lens system (like its discontinued predecessor the NEX-3) offers compatibility with current and future E-mount lenses from Sony Zeiss, Tamron, Sigma, and Cosina, as well as adaptability with virtually any 35mm lens via 3rd party adapter.
