Terk TV-44

$70.00 Released September, 2004

Product Shot 1 The Pros:When working with a compatible Dish receiver, gets excellent reception. Physical installation is relatively simple, brackets are fairly standard. Will handle harsh weather conditions without showing significant deterioration.

The Cons:Needs a satellite multiswitch to act as a dual dish, not included. Often won't get much better reception than rabbit ear antennas. Doesn't work with DishNetwork 1000, poor compatibility with a lot of other equipment.

The Terk TV-44 is an advanced amplified clip-on antenna that works with any LNB mini satellite dish (18-24”). It allows the dish to receive all free local programming, including VHF, UHF, and HD channels.

Included is an integrated amplifier that reduces signal loss, allowing for enhanced reception with quality resolution video and sound. Like its immediate predecessor (TV-42), the TV-44 relies on an ultra-durable weather-resistant construction that protects it from harsh weather conditions. Plus it utilizes two integrated diplexers that combine local/satellite signals into a single RG6 coaxial cable, eliminating the need to run extra wires, while also allowing multiple TVs sets to be hooked up at the same time.
