Winegard MS-2000

$109.00 Released September, 2009

Product Shot 1Winegard's MS-2000 is identical in design to the MS-1000, and its main upgrade is that it includes an amplifier to receive signals over longer distances. The amplifier boosts the antenna's range to a maximum 35 miles, but it should not be installed any less than 15 miles away from a transmitter or else it can overload.

It can receive both Lo- and Hi-VHF signals, as well as UHF ones, and is an outdoor antenna that should be mounted on the roof.  This model does not have a rotor and therefore must be rotated manually to ensure desired signal reception. The omni-directional reception can in some cases produce image ghosting as well. Ultimately, this model is best for picking up signals from multiple towers that are close to the home.
