XM XpressRCi with PowerConnect Vehicle Kit

$170.00 Released September, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Can pause/rewind/record up to 60 minutes of live radio. Alerts allow you to be informed when your favourite song/artist is being played on live radio. PowerConnect FM Transmitter allows the system to work through your car's radio.

The XM XpressRCi with PowerConnect Vehicle Kit is mid-level satellite radio system featuring a do-it-yourself automobile kit that plugs directly into a vehicle’s power adapter socket. An upgrade from the OnyX series, the XpressRCi (XDRC2V1) stands for ‘Replay Color,’ in that it adds along the ability to pause and replay up to 60 minutes of recorded programming, as well as save up to 10 favorite songs.

Product Shot 2 Like its predecessor, the system relies on a SIRUS|XM PowerConnect FM Transmitter, a patent-pending technology that removes ‘hiss’ and ‘static’ from the transmission. Included also is a display with split-screen functionality, meaning users can see what’s playing on up to four channels at once—all without leaving their current channel. The one debilitating factor is its limit to 10 saved songs, which in a world of iPhones and iPods isn’t considered impressive at all.
