The Yamaha YID-W10 is an iPod/iPhone system designed to provide a wireless connection between a user iPod or iPhone and a separately purchased RX-V667 A/V Receiver. It comes with a remote-control-like unit that attaches to the iPod/iPhone, after which users can walk around, but still control the A/V receiver, which itself is directly attached to the YID-W10 system docking station.

Unlike Bluetooth, no pairing is required. Once hooked up, users can synchronize audio/video content and adjust the volume directly for their iPod or iPhone. Plus the unit can be docked into the base station for automatic charging.

    Erik: Yes, it does. Yamaha lists the compatibility on their website (as of Aug, 2010):
