The unit ships with 2 speaker and a subwoofer, but is capable of supporting a full 7.1 speaker system. It has 3 HDMI inputs and 1 output with HDMI video upconversion from other inputs, including component and composite inputs. There is a built in USB port and the compressed music enhancer improves the sound of MP3 and WMA files while the YPAO Automatic System Calibration automatically checks speaker connections and automatically adjusts the sound output to match your room and speaker characteristics using the included microphone.
It is compatible with many audio formats, including Dolby TrueHD, DTS 5.1 surround sound, and the CINEMA DSP digital decoding circuitry performs Dolby Pro Logic IIx, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital EX, DTS Digital Surround, DTS-ES (DTS-ES Matrix 6.1 and DTS-ES Discrete 6.1), DTS Neo:6 and DTS 96/24 decoding with extreme accuracy, as well as all digital sound field processing.
