Zenith DTV1080

The Zenith DTV1080 is an HDTV Digital Set-Top Box released in 2001. It receives all ATSC digital TV formats (DirecTV HD + SD) and outputs them at resolutions up to 1080i, 720p, and 480p. Included is an NTSC tuner with a 3D Y/C comb filter that digitally controls and separates color and picture information, allowing superior picture quality with a minimum of cross-color noise.

Additional features include Dolby Digital 5.1-channel processing for six-channel surround sound; integrated aspect-ratio correction technology for automatic switching between 16:9 and 4:3 formats; and DirecTV’s Advanced Program Guide, which seamlessly integrates all programs, regardless of their source.
